DCAMM Certification

Certain town projects require certification from the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance. These projects include the construction of public buildings, roads and highways, sewer and public works, and others.

These projects fall under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 149 or 149A. Categories of work can be viewed by clicking below. 

Categories of work


ELIGIBILITY

For Prime Certification, you must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 1 year in business
  • Have 5 completed projects each with a dollar value of $80,000 or more for each category of work selected
  • The complete projects must be within the last 5 years
  • Project evaluations must have a passing score of 80 or above
  • For Small Prime Certification, you must meet the following criteria: 

  • At least 1 year in business
  • Have 3 completed projects each with a dollar value of $50,000 or more for each category of work selected
  • The two highest projects must average a dollar value of $150,000
  • The complete projects must be within the last 5 years
  • Project  evaluations must have a passing score of 80 or above
  • For Filed Sub-Bidder Certification, you must meet the following criteria: 

    • At least 1 year in business
    • Have 3 completed projects each with a dollar value of $20,000 or more for each category of work selected
    • The complete projects must be within the last 3 years
    • Project evaluations must have a passing score of 80 or above
